In this landscape of vivid strata, dotted constellations, and a winding current of light, the river becomes a metaphor for the self: shaped by every turn, every season, every stretch of resistance and release. Not disappearing, but enlarging — not losing form, but finding a wider one.

 

The story behind

Ocean is inspired by Khalil Gibran’s poem about a river approaching the sea — a meditation on endings, fear, and the irreversible nature of becoming. It captures the truth that we often mistake expansion for disappearance, and that growth can feel like grief when it asks us to leave an old identity behind.
